To our students

Dear SUVA Students,

Writing on behalf of SUVA’s Board of Directors, I must announce that SUVA will close at the conclusion of the fall 2020 semester. A number of significant factors caused the board to make this sad and difficult decision, such as a reduction in enrollment due to COVID-19 as well as ongoing litigation with SUVA’s founders.

When it became plain to the board that the long term viability of SUVA was an impossibility, the board made it a goal to conclude the semester. Therefore, the plan in the coming weeks is to award credits for the current semester as permitted by law and assist our students in their efforts to transfer and continue their respective educational paths.

It is our intention to be transparent with you and provide as much information as possible to help you make informed decisions about your future. In the coming weeks, you can expect to receive additional communication from us, as well as the Arizona State Board for Private Postsecondary Education and Veterans Affairs to help you determine what options you have and the process for requesting student data going forward.

At the start of this semester, we were all genuinely excited about the future ahead of us. We are heartbroken that it is so abruptly coming to an end. It is important for you to know that we are still here to support you in any way that we can through the end of the fall semester.
