Limited Study
Degree candidates who submit strong applications but do not meet the minimum academic requirements may be admitted as limited study students. Limited study students are required to attend remedial classes. After successful completion of remedial classes, submission of new ACT/SAT scores and an evaluation period equal to one term of attendance, providing all documentation is on file, the student may be changed from limited to admitted status.
If at the end of the evaluation period the student is not making satisfactory progress or test scores do not demonstrate improvement, the college reserves the right to extend the student’s limited status or terminate the student’s enrollment.
REMEDIAL STUDIES
Remedial classes cover reading comprehension strategies, math and/or basic English skills. If a limited study student does not attend or pass the required remedial classes, the student may be required to repeat coursework or the college may choose to terminate the student’s enrollment. Remedial courses may not be applied towards general education requirements.
