International Students
International students applying for admission must comply with all regular admissions procedures and pay a $50 application fee. Applicants must arrange for their high school and/or college transcripts to be translated into English. International applicants may submit TOEFL (Test of English as Foreign Language) scores in place of ACT/SAT scores. The minimum score required for the computerized test is 173 or a score of 500 on the written test. In addition, international students must possess a sufficient command of written and spoken English. This is demonstrated and evaluated on an individual basis during the admissions process.
Once an applicant is accepted to the college, he or she is required to submit a local address and evidence of funds to support study in college. The student is then forwarded an I-20 form, which is needed to obtain a student visa. The I-20 form can only be issued to regular, degree-seeking full-time students.
