  • -Completion of an undergraduate degree from a regionally accredited institution is required for all domestic applicants. International applicants must document the equivalent.

    Graphic Design - 20 digital images of your work. Digital images should be 72 ppi, and between 800 and 1200 pixels for longest dimension, submitted on a DVD or CD.

    Motion Arts - documentation of two completed time-based projects. Digital images (72 ppi, and between 800 and 1200 pixels for longest dimension), video, or web-based projects must be submitted on DVD or CD.

    Painting and Illustration - 20 digital images of your work. Digital images should be 72 ppi, and between 800 and 1200 pixels for longest dimension, submitted on a DVD or CD.

    Photography - 20 digital images or prints of your work. Digital images should be 72 ppi, and between 800 and 1200 pixels for longest dimension, submitted on a DVD or CD. Prints must be submitted un-matted and unframed.

    Sculpture - 20 digital photographs of your work. Photographs of three-dimensional works must show details as well as objects in surrounding space and context. Digital images should be 72 ppi, and between 800 and 1200 pixels for longest dimension, submitted on a DVD or CD.

    -Additional evidence of work in other creative fields may be submitted.

    -List of images (include title, date, dimensions and medium).

    -Three academic or professional letters of recommendation in English from art professors or artists familiar with your work and your goals. Please use the SUVA recommendation forms.

    -Statement of Intent (500 words minimum) outlining interest in pursuing a graduate degree and how your intentions correlate with SUVA’s graduate program offerings.

    -Official sealed transcripts of all undergraduate and graduate work both completed and in-progress. Transcripts must be sent directly to SUVA, or submitted by the applicant in an envelope sealed by the school. High school/secondary school transcripts are not required.
